These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Yosowa website and the services and products we provide. Yosowa is an IT consulting firm based in Pretoria, South Africa.

By using this website, requesting a consultation, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website or our services.

“Yosowa”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Yosowa and its authorised representatives. “You” and “your” refer to the person or organisation accessing this website or purchasing our services or products.

“Services” means the IT consulting, software development, support and related services we offer. “Products” means the hardware and equipment listed in our online store.

Yosowa provides IT consulting, software development, database management, data analytics, project management, IT support and cybersecurity services. The scope, deliverables, timelines and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate proposal or written agreement, which takes precedence over these Terms where they conflict.

Consultation bookings made through this website are requests for an appointment. They do not constitute a binding contract for services until we confirm them in writing.

Product prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are based on current supplier pricing and may change without notice. Delivery and freight charges are quoted separately and are not included in the displayed product price.

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order — for example, where stock is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred. A contract of sale is formed only once we confirm your order and payment has been received.

We make every effort to display product information and availability accurately, but we do not warrant that all information is error-free or that every item shown is in stock at the time of ordering.

Online payments are processed securely through Ozow, our third-party payment provider. By completing a payment you agree to Ozow’s applicable terms. Yosowa does not store your banking or card details.

Orders are only processed once payment has been confirmed. If a payment fails or is reversed, the order will not be fulfilled.

We will arrange delivery of products to the address you provide. Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once payment has been received in full.

Please inspect goods on delivery and notify us promptly of any visible damage or shortage.

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 are not affected by these Terms. Products may carry manufacturer warranties (for example, from Mustek, Lenovo or Acer); warranty claims are handled in accordance with the relevant manufacturer’s terms.

If a product is defective, please contact us within a reasonable period so we can arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Returns of correctly supplied, non-defective goods are at our discretion and may be subject to conditions.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, the Yosowa name and mark, and software — is owned by or licensed to Yosowa and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute it without our prior written permission.

Ownership of intellectual property in bespoke work produced during a consulting engagement is governed by the relevant project agreement.

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, or use it to transmit harmful or unlawful material. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide to us.

The website is provided on an “as is” basis, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yosowa is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). We collect only the information needed to respond to enquiries, fulfil orders and provide our services, and we do not sell your personal information.
